On 15 January 2025, National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia (BAKC) co-organized a seminar under the topic “Introduction to Mediation Rules of National Commercial Arbitration Centre” at BAKC, under the chairmanship of Mr. SAN Kiri, NCAC President, and His Excellency SAING Vannak, BAKC President. This seminar was held in the spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions, with the purpose of promoting and fostering alternative dispute resolution in Cambodia.

This seminar featured our esteemed speaker Mr. BUN Youdy, Managing Partner of Bun & Associates, NCAC Arbitrator Member and Registered Commercial Mediator at NCAC.

During the seminar, esteemed speaker provided a comprehensive overview of NCAC Mediation Service, which serves as a fundamental framework for participants, especially BAKC Members who are seeking to understand and study on the implementation which beneficially for them to represent client in the mediation procedure or to pursue mediator as a profession in the future. Our esteemed speaker also underscored the practical experience as mediator that significantly demonstrated of actual implementation of NCAC Mediation Service.

In this special occasion, NCAC would like to express our sincere appreciation to our esteemed speaker for dedicating his precious time and imparting essential knowledge to the participants. This seminar will serve as a crucial step on enhancing commercial alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in Cambodia, thereby fostering the using of ADR to investors and business community.
